NEW BARRELS
TYPES OF NEW BARRELS

French Oak Barrel
It is softer than American oak, the oxygenation of the wine is slower, providing smooth and delicate flavors. The growth of the tree influences the quality of the wood.

American Oak Barrel
The wood is more resistant, hard, and permeable, giving much more powerful touches that are achieved much faster. It imparts strong aromas such as cocoa or coffee.

Spanish Oak Barrel
It shares similarities with French oak due to the geographical region where it is located. It is often used for red wines, providing vanilla and smoky nuances.

Acacia Barrel
Two varieties can be distinguished depending on the degree of toasting the wood has. If it is not toasted, it will be used in white wines due to the fresh notes it imparts. If, on the other hand, it is partially toasted, it can also be used for aging red wines.

Cherry Wood Barrel
There are two types of barrels, both suitable for reds and whites. When it has a medium level of toasting, it imparts much more intense nuances of plums or cherries.
